Dave Meikle (Vancouver,BC and Phoenix, AZ) is the founder of Pricks of the Trade Tattoo and Piercing Supplies, and pregnancy jewelry with offices in Vancouver, BC, Canada and Seattle, Washington, USA. Prior to starting Pricks of the Trade, Dave Meikle spent almost 3 years in Mainland China, where he oversaw the production and manufacturing of various products for western distribution firms.

Prior to moving to China, David Meikle was an award-winning technology and program design specialist and former ‘kid prodigy’ in software design. He has more than 20 years experience in computers, networking systems, software design, and product development management. 

As the ‘big brain’ behind all design and technology infrastructure for The Symons Internet Group, he was the Chief Technology Architect in the development and programming of the WebCommunityBuilder© technology and the technology strategy for network-stable scaleable expansion

Prior to becoming the Chief Technology Officer of The Symons Internet Group, Mr. Meikle's previous record of achievements includes the successful creation and development of some of the first online communities ever created in the history of the Internet.

Dave Meikle has also developed real-time tracking systems for marathon athletes, leading-edge wireless applications, gambling systems, games, security systems, and voice recognition command systems.

Dave Meikle is fully-conversant in virtually all major programming languages.

David has worked throughout the world including assignments in Hong Kong, Wuhan (Hubei, China), Phoenix, Maryland, Washington DC, Omaha and Vancouver.

Mr. Meikle is a former 'Rocket Scientist' with an undergraduate background in Propulsion Engineering on scholarship in Chicago (with honors) and an Electrical Degree. Mr. Meikle graduate with honors from high school in Apache Junction, Arizona. Prior to moving to Arizona, he attended North Surrey and Guildford Park.
